About the Organisers
The Sport Sciences School of Rio Maior – Santarém Polytechnic University, has positioned itself, for more than 25 years, as a training entity and producer of knowledge in the Sports Sciences field. More particularly, this School was a pioneer in the teaching of Outdoor Sports in Portugal, 25 years ago.
25 years later, Outdoor Sports are a part of the institution’s structured training offer, with a professional course (in Surfing), a Bachelor’s Degree in Outdoor Sports and Active Tourism a Master’s Degree in Sports and Recreation and a Master’s Degree in Sport Training, with a focus on training and high performance in disciplines such as surfing, climbing, and canoeing.
