Abstracts must be submitted online on the submissions platform.
Abstract Guidelines
Poster presentation guidelines:
- These instructions are written for “PowerPoint” but are applicable to any other software you may wish to use.
- The poster structure may change depending on the nature of the submitted work. In general, it should consist of the following: Title, author affiliations, introduction, methods, results, conclusions, and references.
- Dimensions of the poster to: 120cm height x 0,80cm width
- Number of pages (slides): one (1);
- Make sure your text and background have a strong contrast;
- Minimum suggested font size: 24 (20 for references);.
- For embedded images prefer .jpeg or .png file formats in a resolution of 72dpi or 96dpi;
- Save as PDF file before printing.
Printing your Poster: In ICOS+, we have formed a partnership with a local printing company (Rio Gráfica) to facilitate the printing and transportation of your poster. It is up to you to make use of this option. Please read all details about this option here.
Oral presentation guidelines
Submiting an Abstract for peer review:
- Must be submitted in English;
- Must have a maximum of 300 words;
- Must have between 3 and 5 keywords;
- Authors are responsible for the content of their presentations;
- Authors should indicate their preferred type of presentation – Oral or Poster. However, this cannot be guaranteed and will be communicated on acceptance.
- Abstract should be submitted by the following platform. Note: that you may need to create a new account on the plattaform, if you don´t have one yet, to access the ICOS+ event submissions.
Special considerations
- Individual authors may submit a maximum of 2 abstracts as first author.
- In case the first author is unable to attend, a registered co-author is permitted to present the research on their behalf.
- It is possible to appear as a co-author on other abstracts. However , each author can only present a maximum of 2 abstracts (oral or poster).
- Abstracts must be submitted under one of following categories:
- Sports Performance/ Psychology
- Outdoor Education/Motor Learning
- Health and Wellbeing
- Industry/Adventure Tourism

- If an abstract is accepted, it will only be considered for the conference if at least one author has registered.
- All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings indexed on SCOPUS.
Issuing
A certificate will be issued for all communications and posters presented.
Abstract Guidelines for Oral Presentation
The Oral presentation should follow a traditional format, with presenters being afforded 7 minutes to present their findings and an additional 3 minutes to answer questions. The time limit for each presentation and related questions and answers will be strictly observed.

- Presentations should be prepared in the following format
- All information regarding receipt and notification of your submission will be sent by email from submissions@icoscongress.com
- Check our page for important deadlines.
- Notifications will be sent on or before the specified dates.
Abstract Publication
All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings indexed on SCOPUS.
